Mideast talks to resume in Egyptian Red Sea resort; 'Hamas may accept a peace agreement with Israel'

The second round of Middle East direct peace talks will resume on September 14th in Egypt. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, will fly to Egypt to oversee the negotiations.

The Jerusalem Post is reporting that Hamas may now accept a peace agreement with Israel if such an agreement resolves the core issues.  Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erekat told Army Radio on Sunday that "it is now time for decisions, not for negotiations" referring to the building freeze (Jpost.com).
