JERUSALEM (AP) - Israel will gradually reoccupy Palestinian areas until
terrorism stops, the government announced Wednesday in a major policy change
prompted by a deadly bus bombing. Israeli troops raided three West Bank towns
from which dozens of terror attacks have been launched. "Israel will respond to acts of terror by capturing Palestinian
Authority territory," Sharon's office announced. "These areas will be
held as long as terror continues. Additional acts of terror will lead to the
taking of additional areas." Arafat aides said Israel's new policy would only cause further bloodshed, and
push militias to carry out more attacks. Palestinian Cabinet minister Saeb
Erekat accused Sharon of following a secret agenda of replacing the Palestinian
Authority with full Israeli rule. END Back in August of 2001, I suggested that Israel would move on the West Bank
and they would not be leaving (Current Prophetic Events, question 24).
A few weeks later that came true and has gone from bad to worse from that
day forward. Now, after the last suicide bombing that killed 19 innocent civilians, Israel
has decided to reoccupy Palestinian land until the violence ends. This coming on the heels of a major announcement by president Bush that was
to lay the groundwork for a possible Palestinian state. But
after learning of Israel’s plan of reoccupation, the state department has come
out in support and stated that Israel has the right to defend itself. This is what I see for the future. Israel
will continue to go deeper into Palestinian territories as the suicide bombings
increase. But I do see the bombings
at some point ending. This will
bring heavy condemnation from the international community.
Both the UN and EU will come out and strongly condemn it.
Economic sanctions maybe threatened as well.
But Israel is fighting for their very existence and will not be moved. The Arab world of course has condemned the move but I don’t see them doing
anything about it at this time. But
one day soon they will march on Israel as predicted (Ezekiel 38 & 39). Eventually, they will make an agreement, but before that happens, I believe
the rapture will occur and many of the events that will shape the final days
will come to fruition. Then the
antichrist will rise up out of the EU and make an agreement with Israel.
As I have said before I don’t think it will be a peace agreement but
more of a protection agreement. A
multinational peacekeeping force will then be brought into maintain the peace
between the two sides. Israel and
Palestine will agree to allow this multinational peacekeeping force to stay in
the region for seven years. They
will be responsible for monitoring and putting down any violence that may erupt.
All check points will be removed and the Palestinians will be
free to come and go as they please. It should also be noted that the U.S. has a huge stake in peace in the Middle
East due to their desire to overthrow Saddam Hussein.
The U.S. feels it needs Arab support for this attack to gain acceptance.
A Palestinian state maybe the key to win over Arab support for this
incursion. This attack will take
place and Iraq will be soundly defeated. Pastor Malone
