that only the expulsion of Yasir Arafat or his replacement as Palestinian leader
might prompt an Israeli withdrawal in the coming months from the seven West Bank
cities it has placed under 24-hour curfew. As long as Mr. Arafat and the risk of Palestinian violence remain, "we
will have no choice but to stay in the Palestinian cities," the chief of
staff, Lt. Gen. Shaul Mofaz, said in a valedictory interview published today in
the newspaper Yediot Ahronot. Asked if that meant that Israeli troops would remain in the Palestinian
cities for months, he replied, "At least." He said the army would "allow food, water, fuel in" to areas except
those "where there is terror." About 700,000 Palestinians live in the
areas newly under Israeli military control. Palestinians, aid groups and some foreign diplomats have angrily protested
the Israeli position, but Israelis are rallying around it. Despite a sagging
Israeli economy, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's approval rating has soared. Two
weeks have passed without a suicide attack in Israel. Palestinians say that by deferring peace negotiations and asserting military
control over what by treaty is Palestinian-administered territory, Israel will
provoke more violence in the long term. In a survey published today in the newspaper Maariv, 69 percent of Israelis
polled said Israel should await "a new Palestinian leadership" before
conducting negotiations. That is the approach, first pressed by Mr. Sharon, that
President Bush embraced in a speech last week. Mr. Arafat also appears to be groping for a path forward. On Thursday, after
two days of wrangling, he formally dismissed his West Bank security chief,
Jibril Rajoub, as part of what Mr. Abu Rudeineh described as a continuing effort
to reshape his security forces. "Nobody stopped trying to find new faces for the new security branches,
and it's not over," Mr. Abu Rudeineh said. "The problem is not just
the Israelis are preventing us from going on — the Americans are not helping
us." Mr. Rajoub has close ties to top Israeli and American security officials and
is regarded, at least by Israelis, as a pragmatic potential successor to Mr.
Arafat. UNITED NATIONS, July 5 (Reuters) — The United States, Russia, the European
Union and the United Nations are tentatively set to next meet on July 15 and 16
in New York, United Nations and diplomatic officials said today. Representatives
of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan were expected to join part of the discussion.

Israel will continue its occupation of the Palestinian territories.
Obviously it has worked…no homicide bombings in over two weeks. As far as Arafat going, I don’t see that happening but stranger things have
happened. It would not surprise me
if he were replaced for the sake of moving forward with a Palestinian state.
Although, as much as the Arab world would like to make you think, this
state will not be developed for the sake of peace but for the sake of an Arab
stronghold. They have absolutely no
desire for peace now or in the future. They’re
breeding babies to kill the Jews in their schools.
They have one goal and only one, to destroy every Jew. There was a threat made against Israel a few weeks ago prior to their
occupation of the Palestinian settlements.
Russia made it clear that they would not stand by if Israel attacked and
permanently took over the Palestinian territories. That was a major prophetic statement by the Russian leadership.
As I’ve said many times in the past, Russia and the Arab world will one
day soon attack Israel (Ezekiel 38 & 39).
Russia is very close to making that threat come true.
This war will shock the world and will be bigger than anything to date. The U.S. is putting out feelers regarding the possible attack of Iraq.
This war will take place soon and Iraq will be soundly defeated.
This will take a big bite out of the terror infrastructure and will send
a strong message to other terrorist nations that they better clean house or they
maybe next. Speaking of terror. I believe
that terror will be one of the major catalysts that will give the future
antichrist immediate world fame. Not
only will he solve the Mideast problem he will be very instrumental in wiping
out terrorism. Terrorism will be a
thing of the past under his leadership for no one will be able to oppose him
