'For first time in history, Europe will become one'

A half-century after the Cold War divided the Continent in two, negotiators reached a deal Friday, at the E.U. Summitt in Copenhagen to unite Western and Central Europe, creating a single market of 450 million people.  "Accession of 10 new member states will bring an end to the divisions in Europe," said Romano Prodi, president of the European Commission. "For the first time in history, Europe will become one because unification is the free will of its people."  Thomas Fuller/IHT

EU Agrees to Mass Expansion, Turkey Waits in Wings  (Reuters)
The European Union has thrown open its doors to 10 mostly former communist East European countries, ending years of tortuous negotiations and redefining the continent's boundaries.  Despite U.S. backing of Turkey, the E.U. has rejected its entry for now.

Russia, China, and India – the anti-supremacy triangle?

A relevant result of Vladimir Putin’s five-day-visit to the East: the notion of a new “triangle” (Russia, China, and India) is being used everywhere in the world media. This was basically initiated by Indian journalists from the newspaper Hindu and from the Star-TV television channel. They interviewed Putin in Moscow two days before he left for his tour. They pointed out that Putin was coming to India after visiting China: “The trilateral cooperation between India, China, and Russia is developing rather quickly. In which way do you think this cooperation will continue? Will you bring a message to India from China?”

World Falling Out Of Love With America

North Korea has fired a barb at Washington, saying it is ready to deliver "bitter defeat and death" to a threatening United States. North Korea's aggressive stance, coupled with Washington's accusation on Friday that Iran was also "actively working" on a nuclear weapons program, threatens to distract the U.S. as it tries to disarm Iraq.

The EU is expanding and is doing something that will make history…they are on the verge on bringing Western Europe and Central Europe together for the first time. This is what I see for this region. The E.U. will continue to grow in power and strength in both the world economy and militarily. They will one-day challenge the U.S. for world dominance. As the U.S. loses popularity around the world, watch the E.U. step to the forefront in world diplomacy. They will solve the Mideast peace problem.

Here's something else to consider. The E.U. is the future kingdom of the antichrist, but many have doubts now that there are many more then the proposed 10 nations foretold in the Book of Revelation. One thing that you must remember, the ancient Roman Empire was split into east and west. There were many nations that made up the old Roman Empire just as there will be many nations that will make up the New Roman Empire in the last days…certainly more then ten. But it will be ten kings from ten nations of the total New Roman Empire that will make up the ruling party that will lend their power to the antichrist. If you remember correctly, the ruling leaders of the E.U. are aggressively looking for a single leader to head up the empire. At this time they are rotating member leaders every six months to be acting president of the E.U. They want to stop that because they won't be able to concentrate on a long-range plan with a new leader every six months. The induction of a single long-term leader is also a part of their new constitution.

It's strange that the E.U. accepted the induction of ten new members but did not bow to the pressure of the U.S. to induct Turkey. The U.S. has worked hard over the last few months to have Turkey be inducted only to have them past over.

This is no coincidence, Turkey is said to be one of the nations that will join Russia in the latter days and will attack Israel (Ezekiel 38-39). It is my belief that God has moved in the affairs of men and prevented an otherwise sure induction, especially with the U.S. backing them.

Right now Russia is secretly building an Anti-U.S. axis. It has been reported that he is visiting both China and India to solidify a deal. When Russian President Vladimir Putin was pressed on the issue he sidestepped any talk of building such an axis.

Not only is North Korea not ending its nuclear program but has issued a threat to the U.S. that they will defeat the them if they are attacked.

I don't see the world avoiding a future nuclear holocaust in the possible near future.
