Five men who are strongly suspected of being terrorist are said to be on U.S. soil and are planning an attack on a major American city that will be hosting a New Year's Eve celebration. At this time, it is not readily known which city is the intended target.
I have said for over a year that I believed terrorism would be the catalyst that would bring the antichrist to the forefront in world politics. It will be through his Middle East peace plan that terrorism will be appeased…for a while anyway. By the release of the second seal we see that a major world war will break out killing a quarter of the worlds population. I believe this war will come about by terrorism and will affect those nations that are suspects of harboring and supporting terrorist groups. The three nations of the Axis of Evil will be high on that list. Many other surrounding nations will be victims of the fallout. Already South Korea and Japan have expressed fear of a nuclear attack from North Korea. It is most likely that they would be the first casualties if war broke out.
Recent disclosures by Pakistanian President Pervez Musharraf indicate that Pakistan was a push of a button away from nuclear war with India earlier this year. These two countries are very close to a major world catastrophe and it is only due to the timing of God that has prevented this from taking place. You can be sure that they will go to war during the tribulation period.
