U.S. Asks NATO Assistance in Iraq War Bubonic
Plague Samples Missing in Texas Comments North Korea doesn't understand that the nature of an offer
are the conditions or strings attached. Without conditions or parameters
there's chaos. Unfortunately, this doesn't look good for the future and
unless someone steps in war may breakout. The war with Iraq is all but started. Troops have been
sent, positions have been calculated and additional help is on its way. I
see very little hope that war will be averted. As I said in the last
update, look for an attack a few weeks after the upcoming January 27th weapon
inspectors briefing. Something you may want to pay attention to.
After the inspectors present their findings, watch to see if there is a delay in
their return to Iraq. That maybe a sign that an attack is near. They
will eventually have to leave before an attack takes place and that would probably
be as good a time as any. Why is this time in history more dangerous then any
other? It's simple! With terrorists groups on the verge of acquiring
nuclear, chemical and biological weapons it won't be long until someone walks
into the middle of a major metropolitan area and reduces it to a pile of
rubble. I don't believe this will happen until after the rapture takes
places, but I certainly could be mistaken. After all, both Christians and
non-Christians were among the 3000+ dead that fell on 9/11. But the real danger lies with the many irresponsible nations
that are getting very close or have already acquired nuclear technology.
Yes, we are far and away ahead of other nations that possess this technology but
we have only mastered its destructive possibilities. We haven't at this time
mastered the possibility of preventing a nuclear weapon from landing on our soil
if that should occur, although, we are in extensive testing. Personally,
I'm not sure we will ever come to that place given the destruction that will
take place from the second through the fourth seal judgments (Revelation
6:3-8). One quarter of the worlds population will die from war. That
should give you a clue of how close we are to the beginning of the tribulation
period. Of course, we could come up with a smart weapon that might
knock down an incoming nuclear bomb and another country, in the meantime, could
figure out away to fool the smart weapon putting us back at square one. I guess it all comes back to the point that no one can
predict when the Lord will finally rapture the church and bring about the
tribulation period. But we can know the season and I do believe it is upon
us. By the way, in the process of writing this article the
missing bubonic plague samples have been recovered. It looks like we can
rest a little easier now. Although, it serves as a reminder of how
dangerous this world has become in a very short amount of time. Pastor Malone
(AP) - North Korea rejected as "pie in the sky" U.S. offers of talks
and possible aid in exchange for abandoning its nuclear ambitions, accusing
Washington on Wednesday of staging a "deceptive drama" to mislead
world opinion. Keeping up a stream of anti-American invective — even as it
agreed to more high-level meetings with South Korea next week — Pyongyang
declared it would accept no U.S. offer of dialogue with conditions attached.
(Reuters) - Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld said Wednesday the United
States had formally requested military assistance from NATO allies in the event
of a war with Iraq. Rumsfeld made his comments after NATO officials in Brussels
said the United States sought six forms of indirect military support from NATO
countries in case of a war with Iraq, including the deployment of missiles to
protect Turkey, and access to airspace, bases, ports and refueling facilities.
(AP) - Vials containing samples of lethal bubonic plague have disappeared from
Texas Tech University, and the FBI was investigating, authorities said
Wednesday. A statement from the university said vials of bubonic plague, being
used to improve treatment of plague victims, were reported missing to campus
police on Tuesday. Thirty-five vials were believed missing from the school's
Health Sciences Center, said Frank Morrison, a Lubbock city councilman, who told
CNN he was briefed by emergency officials.
