Likud Wins, Israeli Left Crushed Bush
to Argue Saddam 'Is Not Disarming' Comments
Ariel Sharon will stay in power at least for this round of elections. Look
for more of the same in the near future. I see more homicide bombers and
more Israeli invasions until the antichrist comes onto the scene. But I do
believe that the eventual peace plan is lying dormant on the negotiating table
as we speak, waiting for the timing of the Lord. I have no new news from Iraq. Look for war to be swift
and decisive. It could be as soon as the 3rd week in February but no later
then April 30th. There's no secret to this timeframe. Any later, the
military machinery may not perform as anticipated, not to mention the toll the
heat would take on allied troops. If we wait, it will be another year
before we can disarm Saddam. That maybe to late. I heard an expert on Iraqi intelligence the other day speak on
Saddam's strategy. He basically said that Saddam is cooperating just
enough to place reasonable doubt in the European nations. As this game of
hide and seek continues he (Saddam) believes that the European Union and United
Nations will grow weary and abandon the fight. This is definitely a good
strategy and would work if it were not for the good commonsense of our
president. Saddam only needs one more year to become a North Korea.
You can bet we will pay a small price today or heavy casualties next year. Pastor Malone
(Reuters) - Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's Likud party swept to victory in
Israel's general election on Tuesday, dealing a crushing defeat to the leftist
parties that pursued peace deals with the Palestinians. To chants of
"Ariel, Ariel" from the Likud party faithful, Sharon called in a
victory speech for a broad unity government, signaling that he wanted Labour to
join him in a wide-ranging coalition government despite gains made by the right.
(AP) - President Bush, girding the nation for war, was to argue Tuesday in his
State of the Union address that Saddam Hussein has shown "utter
contempt" for the world community and must be held to account. Bush was
also to pledge help for the ailing economy with lower taxes and a stronger
health care system. "The dictator of Iraq is not disarming. To the
contrary, he is deceiving," the president was to say.
