It's 'Five Minutes To Midnight'... UNITED NATIONS - Warning Iraq that it's
"five minutes to midnight," Chief U.N. inspector Hans Blix pleaded
with the Iraqi government Tuesday to show that it is actively cooperating during
his visit this weekend by producing evidence about its weapons programs.
He told a news conference that Baghdad
should take seriously U.S. Ambassador John Negroponte's warning that the
diplomatic window is closing and the prospect of military action is looming. Pentagon
Adviser: France 'No Longer Ally'... WASHINGTON, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- France is no longer an ally of the
United States and the NATO alliance "must develop a strategy to contain our
erstwhile ally or we will not be talking about a NATO alliance" the head of
the Pentagon's top advisory board said in Washington Tuesday. Richard Perle, a former assistant secretary of defense in the
Reagan administration and now chairman of the Pentagon's Policy Advisory Board,
condemned French and German policy on Iraq in the strongest terms at a public
seminar organized by a New York-based PR firm and attended by Iraqi exiles and
American Middle East and security officials. Washington
Issues Grim Warning On N Korea... The Bush administration on Tuesday said
North Korea was pursuing a nuclear weapons programme and conceded its record on
arms proliferation was worse than Iraq's. Richard Armitage, deputy secretary of
state, told the Senate foreign relations committee the US was concerned that
North Korea would seek to avoid economic collapse by selling nuclear fissile
material to rogue states or terrorist organisations. Comments In regards to the email I sent about
praying for the U.S. on March 3, 2003. Actually, you may want to start
praying right now. I have a feeling we maybe waking up very soon to a
massive attack. But I do feel that this war will be very overwhelming and
will not last long. As I said in my previous email, I
believe that this war will be a showcase for U.S./Great Britain military
might. This strong show of power will put fear into the hearts of the
nations. North Korea is an accident waiting to
happen and it maybe sooner than later after they see the results of the Iraqi
campaign. But, I've always believed that the antichrist would rise to
power through a crushing campaign against terrorism even if it's on the heels of
the United States. He will eventually betray her. In closing, I find it very strange for
a man, even as crazy as Saddam, to defy what looks to be insurmountable odds in
the eleventh hour. Personally, I believe it's suicide, but could it be
that the Lord has hardened his heart for a specific purpose? This is not a
normal and logical response to almost certain defeat even for a madman. Pastor Malone
