Repositions Bombers Near N. Korea Summit
Rocked as Iraq Slams Kuwait Comments This is a time like none other in prophecy. War is
literally looking to breakout in every corner of the globe. Israel has come under fire again with at least 15 killed in
another homicide bus bombing. This is not going to end until the
antichrist comes on the scene and solves the problem...temporarily. North Korea has put the U.S. on alert again and they (U.S.) are
countering with their own message. Iraq may prove to be limited in risk,
but this war (North Korea) is very dangerous for the world at large. This is just the scenario Bible believing ministers have
talked about for years just before the antichrist comes to the surface. It
is through these old men of God that that God speaks and explains the real truth
of the mysteries of His Word. I'm sorry, but I wouldn't give two cents for
some of the so-called modern day ministers of this day. Of course, there
are a few good ministers today, but they're few in number. Is it a coincidence that the world is saying peace, peace and
the leaders are on the verge of war? Is there a reasonable antidote to
this problem? Is the antichrist about to burst onto the scene and deal
with this situation? Only time will tell. Even though we do not know the day nor the hour we're not
ignorant of the circumstances before us either. I used to get emails all
the time (in the late 90s) by people scoffing at my prediction of a near rapture
and coming of the antichrist. They would always end with the claim that
the tribulation period was years away (15 to 20 years). I don't get those
emails anymore. I have also been getting emails from more than a few people stating
that they believe the U.S. is the New Roman Empire. Of course, that would
make the U.S. President the antichrist (not necessarily President Bush).
Their claim is usually based on a few passages found in Daniel 7 & 8.
I don't support this assertion but don't discount it as out of the realm of
possibility. If this be the case, the U.S. will one day soon make a treaty
with Israel for seven years of protection. They will also attack Mystery
Babylon, which many scholars believe to be Iraq, and destroy her
completely. Some believe that the U.S. is in a sense a nation that has
risen out of the Old Roman Empire (England), and therefore, should be
considered. Of course, there are the ten kingdoms that must be
considered. Is it possible that from Gulf War II that ten nations will
rally around the U.S. and pledge their allegiance? But here are some problems with this assertion. One,
Mystery Babylon is said to be a financial center of the world and also will lord power over the beast (antichrist-Revelation 14, 16-18). That's
not true of Iraq today. Two, the antichrist will set his capital up in
Rome and eventually move it to Jerusalem. I don't see any U.S. President
setting up his capital anywhere but in Washington D.C. Three, the U.S.
may have been born out of the Old Roman Empire but they have never been
considered a part of it at any time. Certainly, the U.S. is a powerful
nation, but I believe that they will be nothing more than the bearers of wealth and
power over the antichrist in the early stages up to the middle of the
tribulation period (Harlot-Revelation 17). Of course, in time we will learn the truth. But the real
truth that I hope you have learned from my website is you need the Lord
today. If you are not saved and have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and
Savior you are lost and on your way to a burning hell. Jesus died for you
and today you can choose to live for Him. Please make that decision before
it's eternally to late. Pastor Malone
(AP) - A suicide bomber blew himself up aboard a crowded bus in the northern
city of Haifa on Wednesday, killing at least 15 people and injuring dozens in
the first suicide bombing in Israel in two months, officials said. The bomb, one
of the most powerful used in such attacks, ripped off the roof of the No. 37
bus, strewing wreckage and body parts across the street. The bus, packed with
students from the nearby University of Haifa, had just stopped in the hilltop
neighborhood Carmelia at about 2:17 p.m. Because of the hour, officials said.
(AP) - The foreign ministers of France, Germany and Russia said Wednesday they
will "not allow" passage of a U.N. resolution to authorize war against
Iraq. The three ministers held an emergency meeting in Paris as U.S.-led
preparations for war accelerate and the U.N. Security Council prepares to
consider a resolution backed by Washington that could open the door for military
action. "We will not allow a resolution to pass that authorizes resorting
to force," France's Dominique de Villepin said at a press conference
alongside his Russian and German counterparts.
(AP) - The United States is basing more heavy bombers near North Korea and will
formally protest the communist nation's "reckless actions" in using
MiG fighters to intercept a U.S. surveillance plane, officials said. Shifting
the military aircraft toward northeast Asia was described "as a prudent
gesture to bolster our defense posture and as a deterrent" by Defense
Department spokesman Lt. Cmdr. Jeff Davis on Tuesday.
(Reuters) - Bitter enmity between Iraq and Kuwait erupted in a vitriolic
name-calling match on Wednesday at an Islamic summit meant to unite the voice of
the world's one billion Muslims against war. In a clash caught on live
television before the Qatar state broadcaster shut down transmission, Iraq
denounced Kuwait as an American vassal and a traitor to the Muslim faith, which
it said was in grave danger of subjugation by the United States.
