Allies Set Monday Deadline on Iraq Saddam:
Iraq Set to Fight US Anywhere in the World Comments President Bush will be
addressing the nation tonight at 8 PM. It is believed that he will present
an ultimatum to Saddam Hussein that the time for diplomacy is over, and the only
way to avoid war would be that he and his government leaders go into exile. The proposed U.N. vote
on a new resolution will not be pursued since the U.S. and allies believe that
the old resolution contains sufficient breaches to proceed with action. In
short, we are on the brink of war. This is what I see for this war. The U.S. and allies
will hit Iraq with everything imaginable and unimaginable. The most
critical time will be in the first few hours. I don't see Iraq's threat
against Israel or any other surrounding nation coming to fruition...at least not
to the magnitude that would drag them into the war. Iraq is not near as
powerful nor Saddam's troops as loyal as is made out to be. Yes, we've all
heard the rhetoric and seen the satellite images, but I give them 48 hours to
buckle under the massive attack of the allied forces. Many will simply
throw their hands up and literally run to the safety of the American forces. Saddam will blow the oil fields as expected, but the allies
will have them under control in a matter of months. We won't takeover the
oil fields and profit from them, although we should for what it's costing us to
fight this battle. But we will continue PAYING for our oil as we have from
the beginning. That argument is dead and I can't believe I'm still hearing
it. Don't those people realize that after World War II that the Middle
East was ours for the taking if we wanted it. You can bet we needed cheap
oil at that time as well. Today, Saddam finally admitted that he had weapons of mass
destruction but said it was for its protection against Iran and Israel. He
claims that they have since been destroyed. When this war is over, and the truth is finally declared,
there's going to be a lot of leaders around the globe saying "oops".
I don't see France being one of them, but they will never fully recover from
this diplomatic goof. What does this have to do with prophecy? Not much in the
way of direct scripture. Although, I do believe that it will propel the
leaders of U.S. and Britain to international stardom. This display of
force will put on notice all those who are contemplating supporting terrorism or
pursuing a program for creating weapons of mass destruction to think twice.
Most will blink with the exception of North Korea. They will probably have
to be dealt with. If you have been reading my articles for any length of time
you know that I believe that the U.S. will eventually turn out to be Mystery
Babylon. I also feel that it is highly possible that Tony Blair (or his
successor) could turn out to be the antichrist. Of course, this is all
speculation and I have no clear cut scripture to back it up, but there is a
significant amount of indirect scripture to make a case. Please don't
write me and ask that I re-present my proof since it is contained in my website.
Whoever the antichrist does turn out to be, I believe that I can say with some
certainty that he will be a trusted friend. Why do I say this? The
Bible plainly states that he will pledge to protect them and they will place
their trust in him. I don't see Russia, France, Germany, China or any
other nation outside of the U.S. and Britain warranting that kind of trust. Together, I see the U.S. and Britain ruling the world with the
U.S. being the dominant world force (great whore). Around the middle of
the tribulation period the antichrist and his kingdom will betray the U.S. Pastor Malone
(AP) - On the brink of war, President Bush and summit partners from Britain and
Spain gave the United Nations a Monday deadline to endorse the use of force to
compel Iraq's immediate disarmament. "Tomorrow is a moment of truth for the
world," said Bush, commander-in-chief of 250,000 troops ringing Iraq and
ready to act with or without U.N. approval. He spoke Sunday after an Atlantic
island summit with British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Spanish Prime Minister
Jose Maria Aznar.
(Reuters) - Iraqi President Saddam Hussein said on Sunday Iraq was ready to
fight the United States anywhere in the world if Washington launched a war.
"When the enemy opens the war on a large scale it should realize that the
battle between us will be waged wherever there is sky, earth and water anywhere
in the world," Saddam was quoted by state-run Iraqi media as telling a
group of military officers.
