the position of prime minister - hours after it was passed by the Palestinian
parliament. Earlier on Tuesday, the parliament rebuffed Mr Arafat's
demands to dilute the authority of the new post, in particular to retain the
power in appointing cabinet ministers. The installation of a new prime minister was a condition set
by the United States for movement on an internationally-backed peace plan aimed
at ending more than two years of killing that have left thousands of
Palestinians and Israelis dead. US Invasion Of Iraq 'Inevitable' http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/em/-/1/hi/world/middle_east/2862273.stm The United States says American forces will enter Iraq to
search for weapons of mass destruction even if President Saddam Hussein complies
with an ultimatum to leave. President George W Bush's spokesman Ari Fleischer said that
allied troops would go into the country "no matter what", but warned
the Iraqi leader that if he did not leave it would be his "final
mistake". Comments Palestine has taken one more step toward peace in the
region. Yasser Arafat has signed a bill creating the position of Prime
Minister and the Palestinian parliament signed it into existence a few hours
later. Once the Iraqi war is complete and Saddam is only a memory the
focus will be on peace in the Middle East. Of course, that could be put on
the back burner if diplomacy with North Korea falls a part. Since the U.S. ultimatum France is now trying to do a little
damage control. They are now offering their help if in fact Iraq does use
chemicals weapons during the conflict. The truth of the matter is that
France doesn't want to be left out of the contracts that will come from
rebuilding Iraq. As far as I'm concerned I will not be buying anything
from France or Germany. They're definitely not looking out for our best
interest and should not benefit from any contracts that may come from the
post-war cleanup. But I'm sure we'll overlook their anti-U.S. behavior and
reward them somehow. Look for this war to start tomorrow night at 8:01 PM eastern
time. I have to confess that I heard a military analyst make that
prediction, but I do agree with his theory. The belief is that Saddam and
his inner circle will fight to the death, so don't look for a surrender.
He's looking to make a statement and forge his place in history. Keep your T.V. tuned to Fox News tomorrow night. They'll
tell you the truth and you won't hear any anti-American rhetoric. Also, pray for our troops and support them even if you're not
behind this war. Pastor Malone
