Russia,
Israel Agree On Anti-Terror Union
JERUSALEM - Russia's foreign minister welcomed Israel's offer
of help in combating militant groups on Monday, saying Russia needs to be more
effective in fighting terror after last week's deadly hostage school standoff.
While showing willingness to work with Israel against militants, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said any counter-terrorism alliance would have to include Arab countries — in a nod to Russia's traditional allies in the region.

I just read an article
that stated Bin Laden was on the verge of being caught. Although,
Pakistani leaders deny that they are close to catching him it wouldn't surprise
me if they announced his capture in the near future. Of course, the
liberals will jump on that and say his capture was timed for the elections to
help re-election Bush. I don't care what the reason is, it would be nice
if he was captured period...not that his capture is going to end terrorism.
Speaking of terrorism, one of my readers sent me an article that states Israel and Russia are going to work together to fight terrorism. One of the strong statements that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made was that any coalition between Russia and Israel would have to include their Arab allies.
Not that I believe a Russian-Israeli-Arab alliance would last long but this is an interesting possible twist however short it may last. It is much more interesting to note that in these last days Russia continues to place the Arab countries as their top allies just as the Bible stated over two thousand years ago (Ezekiel 38 & 39). It's very strange that this prophecy is being fulfilled in the same generation Israel has been reborn as a nation. Of course, we Christian's do not consider this to be strange.
Thanks to those who have sent me articles. Many times I will feature them in an article...other times I won't, but don't let the discourage you from sending one. They are very useful to me even if I don't feature yours.
