There is "not a glimmer of hope" for the creation of a true
Palestinian state, the head of the Arab League said, dismissing growing hopes
that the moribund peace process is on the verge of recovery.

A Tunisian astrologer who reportedly predicted the deaths of Princess Diana,
Hamas leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin and Yasser Arafat says President Bush will be
killed by an assassin's bullet in 2005.

The death toll for the weekend tsunami is up to 55,000 and is
expected to continue to rise. This was the second major earthquake in less
than a week. The previous earthquake registered at 8.5, but did not occur near
any population centers. The second and deadlier earthquake which registered at
9.0 is said have physically altered Asia. I have a feeling this is the
beginning of things to come. This was no coincidence and I see a day
coming when the prophecy of Mark 13:8 (earthquakes in divers places) will
be made abundantly clear. Even the scoffers will have to shake their heads
in disbelief.
The Arab League isn't putting out much hope for a Palestinian state to be born, but again, I wouldn't either if I knew it was up to man to get it done. It'll take a miracle for this to happen but we've known this from the beginning. As we speak, Arab terrorist groups say they are deploying missiles that will travel further into the heart of Israel and inflict more damage than ever before.
Pray for those in Asia who have suffered such a devastating loss.
