Defense Ministry Director-General Amos Yaron has approved 150 million shekels ($35 million) for the construction of the new terminal. The 75-acre complex is to include a passage for pedestrians and goods, as well as a train station and, in the future, a passage for vehicles.

At present, the crossings at Rafiah, Erez and Karni are closed, following continued terrorist attacks there. Most recently, six guards were killed in a terror blast this past Thursday night at the Karni Crossing.

EU Drops Deficit Action Against France And Germany
European Union finance ministers agreed Tuesday to drop disciplinary action against France and Germany after concluding that the eurozone's two biggest economies will meet an EU deficit target this year.

The ministers endorsed the view expressed last month by the EU's executive commission that the heavyweight pair will soon bring their deficits under three percent of gross domestic product.

Comments
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is looking at his military options to combat Palestinian terrorist.  Just when you think they might be able to work things out the door starts to close again .  Abbas has called for a meeting of all the terrorist leaders to put a halt to the violence...or to let them in on the ultimate plan.  Look for continued fighting in the region until the future E.U. leader devices a plan.

The European Union finance ministers have decided to drop disciplinary options against two of the big three (France and Germany).  That doesn't surprise me a bit.  These two countries basically run the E.U. behind the scenes and are above the law.  But one day, I believe they will be put down by the coming antichrist as described in Daniel 7:24.

Another significant earthquake has occurred in the Far East.  This time it registered a magnitude of 6.3.  So far little damage has been reported with no deaths.
