PLO chief Mahmoud Abbas Monday said that he hopes to very soon curb Palestinian terrorism by convincing the killers of Jewish men, women and children that for the time being, violence is the wrong path to choose.

Israel Trains Guards Of Saudi Royals
TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel has been quietly training foreign bodyguards for the Saudi royal family.

The bodyguards have trained at a private security facility in Israel's Negev desert. The training included protecting convoys from attack, escaping ambushes and the protection of VIPs.

U.S. Intelligence Obtains Iranian Nuke Plans
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The U.S. intelligence community has obtained plans for what was described as an Iranian project to develop a nuclear warhead.

Officials said the plans were obtained by the CIA in November from an unidentified source. They said the source relayed more than 1,000 pages of technical drawings and documents of an Iranian nuclear missile warhead design.

Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas says he has come to terms with militant groups regarding an agreement for a ceasefire.  It's hard to say whether this will finally bring about meaningful results.

One thing Abbas stated as an argument to halt the terrorism was "that for the time being, violence is the wrong path to choose."  Israel would be foolish to bargain with a man who would make such a statement, but in the end, they will.  It will probably be with the backing of the quartet and at the persistence of the U.S.  As of late the U.S. has taken a harder stance with Israel and is pushing them toward better cooperation with the E.U.  Eventually, they will make an agreement with the E.U.

The CIA has obtained detailed intelligence information regarding Iran's future nuclear plans.  Believe it or not this information was leaked out.  You can believe heads are going to roll...literally.

President Bush has refused to rule out a possible war with Iran, but according to the Bible, that's not going to happen.  Ezekiel 38 & 39 places Iran firmly in the middle of the Russian-Arab attack against Israel.  As a result, over eighty-five percent of their army will be lost.  This war has not taken place yet, but most Bible scholars see it occurring in our generation.   

Israeli counter terrorism experts have been secretly training the bodyguards for the Saudi royal family.  This is quite a surprising development, but not totally unexpected.  After all, Israel does have the best anti-terrorism unit in the world.  

Keep an eye on the progress of the ceasefire.  This could be the real thing and may lead to peace.  Sooner or later it must come.
