French No Could

European Commission has called for a French yes to the European Constitution,
pointing out that there will not be a "plan B" if France rejects the
treaty next week.

On May 29th the French will go to the polls and vote on whether they will say
"yes" or "no" to the E.U. constitution. I believe they
will say "yes" but it's not mandatory as far as prophecy is concerned. What I mean
is the E.U. will still be the E.U. whether the constitution is ratified or
not.
They say that it must be ratified because there is no "Plan B" in place. Don't let them fool you. The powers that be have definitely considered the possibility that the constitution may not get approved by everyone. That would open the door to a two stage entry. Those who are ready to meet the demands of full membership would enter in the first stage and those who needed more time in the second stage. Personally, if this is the direction they end up taking I don't see a second stage ever taking place.
I've never really been a fan of the 25 member E.U. anyway. The reason being the Bible says that the kingdom of the antichrist will have ten kings who will lend their power to him (Revelation 17) . Of course, those ten kings could be the dominant ruling kings but I do question it.
I have also seen prophecy experts try to somehow turn the original six members of the E.U. into ten as membership grew (mid 1990s). Then when that didn't pan out they switched gears calling the WEU the real beginnings of the future kingdom of the antichrist. They (WEU) do have ten members but they all essentially defected for the real future of Europe the E.U.
Some say the WEU is the military arm of the E.U. I disagree! They just happen to have ten militarily strong European members who in essence left the WEU for the E.U. but still maintain dual membership. I don't think there is any question if the ten members of the WEU were forced to choose between the two the WEU would cease to exist.
The E.U. is definitely the future of Europe without question and the same military might they gave to the WEU is certainly transferable to the E.U. How they fit into the ten nation scenario of the end times remains to be seen.
It wouldn't surprise me if the vote on the constitution ran into some real problems forcing many nations to be left behind for the second stage entry. Either way, I firmly believe the antichrist will rise up out of the E.U. and take control. I also believe he will be one of the elected presidents that will rise up as a result of the constitution.
The future is hard to predict and will likely take on many new directions before it's all said and done.
In the coming days I plan to outline some of the prominent dates I have mentioned. Many are around the corner and could play a major role in shaping the end times.
