Police Placed On Highest Alert
TEL AVIV
[MENL] -- Israel's police and security authorities have been placed on
the highest state of alert amid an effort by tens of thousands of withdrawal
opponents to enter the Gaza Strip.
Officials said police have been placed on "emergency alert" to stop an estimated 40,000 withdrawal opponents from entering the Gaza Strip, closed by the military since last week. The opponents have reached a point about five kilometers from the Kissufim junction at the eastern entrance of the Gaza Strip.

Seven EU Presidents
'United For Europe'
The presidents of Germany, Austria, Italy, Finland, Poland, Portugal and
Latvia have written a common article, discussing the future of Europe and
stressing the need not to give up on the European project.

China Looking Beyond Taiwan
WASHINGTON (AP) -- China cannot be certain that
its military, while steadily strengthening, is capable of conquering Taiwan, the
Pentagon said Tuesday in a new report on Chinese military power and strategy.
Over the longer term, however, an increasingly modernizing Chinese military could pose a threat to U.S. and other forces in the Asia-Pacific region, it said.
"Some of China's military planners are surveying the strategic landscape beyond Taiwan," the report said.

I'm
not sure what twists and turns will take place over the next few months or
years, but I do know that in the end the Lord will rescue Israel and destroy
their enemies. Whether we will be here to see any of it remains to be
seen. The
presidents of seven E.U. nations have written a common article that could shape
the face of a future Europe. Of course, the number seven always raises the
eyebrows of the prophecy world. The verse that comes to mind is found in
Daniel 7:24 where the antichrist is said to rule ten kings and eventually will
subdue three of them: "And
the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another
shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall
subdue three kings." You
may want to watch what direction this European project takes. There
is another prophetic development taking place in the old Soviet Union (Russia).
Recently, Turkey has been warming up to Russia, and apparently is now sharing
intelligence and participating in joint military exercises. Considering
they were enemies for many years this is a complete 180-degree turn from what
their relationship used to be. As you may know, I believe that Turkey will take
part in the Great Russian lead attack on Israel in the last days (Ezekiel 38
& 39). The
China buildup continues to roll forward. The Pentagon has underestimated
them militarily for years and I don't see that changing. America continues
to purchase cheap Chinese products at the expense of national security.
Ultimately, China will take back Taiwan but it won't be until they feel they can
threaten the U.S. That maybe sooner than later! Famed
archeologist Dr.Vendyl Jones says he will find the Ark Of The Covenant by August
14th of this year. I have no updated information but mark this day down,
it could turn out to be monumental. Speaking
of the Ark Of The Covenant, a reader of mine brought this verse to my attention: "And
it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those
days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the
LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither
shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more." (Jeremiah 3:16) This
verse speaks of the millennium when Jesus will rule and reign for one thousand
years. Of course, this is future, but what caught my attention was the
portion of the scripture that stated (speaking of the Ark) "neither shall
it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it;
neither shall that be done any more". I
realize that in the context of the entire chapter many interpret this verse to
mean that Israel will forget the memory of the Ark Of The Covenant when the Lord
comes back to rule the earth. But is it possible that this verse could be
foretelling the discovery of the Ark Of The Covenant in the last days
(tribulation period/rebuilding of the temple) just before the Lord's coming?
And if so, could this be what sparks the rebuilding of the temple?
Certainly,
I don't have all the answers. If you would like to add your analysis of
this passage please email me, I would be happy to hear from you.

Israel's
parliament has turned down delaying the withdrawal from the Gaza Strip. A poll
taken recently showed Palestinians believe that terrorism and the constant
missile attacks played a key role in causing Israel to give back land. It
also sent a stern warning that Palestine's ultimate goal has not changed...to
push Israel into the sea.
