Plans Surprise Early Withdrawal

Dead In Egyptian Blasts...
SHARM EL-SHEIKH, Egypt (Reuters) - At least 83 people were killed and 200
injured when car bombs ripped through shopping and hotel areas in the Red Sea
resort of Sharm el-Sheikh on Saturday in the worst attack in Egypt since 1981.
Shaken European tourists spoke of mass panic and hysteria as people fled the carnage in the early hours, with bodies strewn across the roads, people screaming and sirens wailing.

Terrorists have struck again! This time it's Egypt.
The present death toll is 88 dead and over 200 injured. Al Qaeda now says
that it will change its strategy to smaller more frequent strikes as opposed to
major offensives.
They also plan on decreasing their force in Iraq to concentrate more on a new battle zone...Europe and the Middle East. This change in strategy will mainly target countries that have troops in Iraq.
The Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip may take place earlier than expected. When this will happen is a closely guarded secret. But a recent poll shows that support for the withdrawal has dropped below 50%. As we draw closer to the date, is it possible that there could be a change of heart?
The Antichrist
Over the years many have tried to
predict who the antichrist would be. Guesses range from Nero to Ronald
Reagan. They were wrong then and I don't see that changing in the future.
Can we know who the antichrist is? I do believe it's possible if we have the wisdom the Bible speaks of in Revelation 13:18:
"Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."
Personally, I'm not sure the antichrist knows who he is at this time. He maybe rising in power without knowledge of his destiny.
You may disagree with me, but I'm not sure Judas knew his destiny until satan entered into him (John 13:16-31). Of course, it's possible that he made a deal with the devil prior to that, and if he did, it's apparent he was very sorry in the end (Matthew 27:3-8). The Bible says that he repented that he betrayed Jesus...meaning he was sorry that he did it. But either way, it's very possible that he wasn't aware of his future role prior to that day. Whether that is true regarding the antichrist is unknown.
That leads us to the question of who are the leading candidates. That's hard to say! There are strong rumors that former President Bill Clinton will be the next head of the United Nations. He's young, well liked, ran a liberal but successful administration when in office, and his wife maybe the next president of the United States. His main drawback is that he is not nor ever will be a leader of the European Union. Most believe the E.U. will be the future kingdom of the antichrist. That alone may disqualify him.
Next on the list is British Prime Minister Tony Blair. He is probably the most influential prime minister in the E.U. and second most powerful leader of the free world. He's young, very powerful, and like Clinton, continues to win concessions even when the odds are against him. When the constitution is ratified he will be a strong candidate for the future position of E.U. president.
My last pick is European Union Foreign Minister Javier Solana. He is said to be the most powerful person in the E.U. because in the event of a catastrophe he has been given emergency powers. Meaning, he would lead the E.U. Strangely enough, this power was awarded in December 1998 and encoded in Section 666 of the Europa archived documents. Some take Section 666 to represent the number of the future antichrist (Revelation 13:18).
His main drawbacks are his age (63 years old) and that he's not a prime minister of any member country in the E.U. If the tribulation period starts tomorrow he will be 70 years old by the time it's over seven years later. The way I see it something better happen soon before health concerns or even death comes into play. As for his emergency powers, when the E.U. constitution is ratified and a permanent president is elected, I have to believe those powers will be lifted. The future permanent E.U. president will have similar if not identical powers that a U.S. president enjoys.
That's only a few names for what could be a very long list. I'm sure you have candidates of your own and many of you have written me expressing who you believe the antichrist will be. Whoever he turns out to be, one day soon he will rise and the world will never be the same.
