To send comments and questions please click here to go to our main page May 12th, 2001 Just as relations between North and South began to warm, miltitary sources have uncovered information that indicate that North Korea has an ulterior motive and should not be trusted. This shouldn't have been a shock to anyone, much less the Pentagon. Iran has declared a holy war against Israel. They've stated that they will financially support anyone that will disrupt efforts for peace between Israel and the Palestian state. Ezekial 38 & 39 identifies Iran as one of the participants in the future Russian/Arab attack on Israel. This prophecy seems to be right on schedule. Pockets of fighting have picked up in Israel/Palestine and have now filtered down to the targeting of innocent children. This type of cowardess behavior (if it continues) will only serve to fuel the fire that will eventually lead to a thunderous retaliation from Israel. Palestine can't win this fight and a good Israeli beating could prompt other Arab nations to jump in. If that happens, it will make Desert Storm look like a military exercise. Can this all be a coincidence? Are these the last days or is everything going to be alright? Is the sleeping bear about to awaken and unleash it's final fury? Has the Arab world had just about enough of little Israel? Is the antichrist about to make his grand world entrance? There is no doubt in my mind that we are living in the last days. Even though God has made it evident in His Word that no one can know the exact time of the coming of the Lord, we can know the season. "But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief" (I Thes. 5:4). Those of Noah's day knew but failed to believe. The Pharisees and Scribes were blasted by Jesus himself for not knowing the time of His coming (Matt. 16:3). The righteous have always been forewarned about every major event before it has taken place including the endtimes. Honestly, I see war in the Middle East before peace, climaxing with a stunning victory that will shock the world. Why would God allow such a war? The answer is found in Ezekiel 38: 23, "Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD." God's ultimate plan has and always will be to lead sinful man back to His side that they may know Him and experience His love. Today, I don't ask you to accept Christ to escape the great tribulation and the horrors that follow. There is a fate many times greater then the tribulation for all those who reject Christ...separation from God and eternal hell. I hope you will choose today to turn your life over to Christ before it is to late. If you would like to accept Jesus as Lord pray with me right now: Father, I know that I am a sinner and cannot obtain salvation in and of myself. I come to you in the name of Jesus asking that you forgive me of my sins (name them), and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness and guilt. I trust and believe that Jesus died and rose again to pay my sin penalty. I accept this free gift of salvation, and from this day forward, turn my life completely over to the Lord.
