GENEVA — Countries around the
world need to start rehearsing plans for tackling a human flu pandemic to
identify hidden obstacles and ensure the best response once the virus arrives,
the World
Health Organization said Monday.
Health experts at the first major
international coordination meeting on bird flu and human flu urged countries
that haven't done so to draw up plans for handling an inevitable new pandemic,
which the World Bank estimated could result in more than $800 billion in lost
gross domestic product over a single year.
Experts agree a global flu
outbreak capable of killing millions of people is a certainty.
What is also certain, say scientists, is that
the virus will come from bird flu. But what is unknown is whether the H5N1
strain that has ravaged poultry stocks in parts of Asia and spread
through Eastern Europe will be the culprit.

As I said in my last article I don’t believe we will find out who the
antichrist is until after the rapture takes place.
Yes, I do believe the antichrist is alive and well on planet earth but he may or may not know who he is at this time. Let me explain!
When
the rapture takes place it will shock the world. Not only will it shock
the world, I believe it will also take satan be surprise. I am convinced
that satan has no idea that he is living in the last days.
Personally,
I believe he is grooming his man (antichrist) and the false prophet to shortly
takeover the world and he doesn't have any idea that God's plan is about ready
to take control.
Of course, many of you who are reading this are thinking, "What in the world is he talking about! Isn't satan and God about ready to go head to head in the war of wars?" As far as satan is concerned he has determined that now is the right time for him to institute his plan. satan fully believes that he is about to surprise God with the introduction of his earthly kingdom. Unfortunately for satan, God knew his plans before the world was formed.
As far as the last days are concerned, I don't believe satan has any idea where we are in time.So
what am I saying? I'm saying that we don't understand the mind of God, but
we do know this, you can't outsmart God. God simply looked into the future
or manipulated satan into doing His will (in His time) or anyone of a thousand
combinations. satan will act and respond according to the will of God and
will only understand what he is allowed to understand. Simply put, he
can't understand his next thought unless the Lord grants him that understanding.
I
have had many ask me the question, "Don't you think satan has the ability
to read the Bible or to look at prophecy websites such as your own?"
Not unless God grants him the wisdom and the ability to do so. What many
seem to overlook is satan is a created being, an angel, that does not have full
knowledge nor does he know the future. Take a look at I Peter 1:12 which
is talking about salvation.
"Unto
whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister
the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the
gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the
angels desire to look into."
This
verse explains that angels desire to look into salvation but have not been
granted the ability to do so. They long to know more but God has hidden it
from them. According to this verse they are still in the dark to this day.
Yes, demons do know that they are appointed for judgment someday, but
when, they are unsure of (Matthew 8:29).
Down
through the centuries I believe satan has made many attempts to bring about his
kingdom but has been restrained from doing so by the Holy Spirit.
I am convinced his last attempt was during World War II.
I believe that satan is about to unveil his master plan (again) not knowing God has His own plan in the works.
Just before satan is about to present his unholy trinity to the world God will rapture the church. As I said, I believe the rapture will completely take satan by surprise, but he will also realize that his enemy (the Holy Spirit) is no longer opposing him. He will finally be free to do his will...he thinks.His
first concern will be to develop his kingdom. Although the world will
initially be in hysteria, satan will quickly restore calm with one of his many
lies. Without the hand of God and protecting power of the Holy Spirit the
world will be no match and will fall prey to the deceptions of satan. This
world will quickly fall deep into apostasy (II Thessalonians 2:3).
At the same time, satan will work quickly to put the necessary pieces in place. Many believe that satan is already at this time grooming the antichrist and false prophet. That could be true but it's certainly not necessary. satan could be causing them to succeed according to his timetable without them even knowing it. On the other hand, they could already know who they are
(not likely) and be awaiting their time. It is also possible that the spirit of antichrist will merely possess the body of an international leader and be propelled to world prominence by satan. It doesn't really matter, anyone of these scenarios would fulfill his plan.There
maybe a gap of time between the rapture and the start of the tribulation period.
It's possible that the tribulation period may begin simultaneously with the
departure of the saints but unlikely. It's also possible that the
Russian-Arab attack on Israel (Ezekiel 38 & 39) could take place the day of
the rapture. Some believe that as the Lord comes to rapture the church He
will also destroy the invading armies at the same time. That is entirely
possible but it’s more likely that the invasion will take place sometime after
the place treaty is signed.
I
tend to believe that the gap in time will be more than a year. This will
give satan time to calm things down, infuse his deceptions into the world
system, cause the world to quickly fall away, and to raise up and position the
other two-thirds of the unholy trinity. It's also possible that during the
antichrist's rise to power that he will subdue the three kings of Daniel 7:24
during this time.
If
you think this world is Godless and evil now it will change dramatically for the
worse during this time period.
Will we as Christians see any of this coming? I think we will see some signs but I don’t believe we’ll see the coming of the antichrist or be able to figure out who he is before the rapture. According to II Thessalonians 2:7 & 8 I don’t believe he will be revealed or come on the world stage until after the rapture occurs. I will go so far as to say that the world may not even know his true identity until after he desecrates the temple (Matthew 24:15-21). When I say his true identity I mean his true identity as the antichrist spoken of by the prophets. Yes, he will be a prominent world leader when he signs a peace accord with Israel but I doubt anyone will see him as the antichrist at that time.
Many point to Revelation 13:18 as proof that we can know who the antichrist is. This verse essentially states that if anyone has wisdom he can figure out who the antichrist is by counting his number. For years men have been trying to solve this puzzle through various math calculations. Unfortunately, virtually all the proposed candidates through these methods have either died or are too old to rule.
At some point, the wisdom necessary to unravel who this man is will be granted, but I don’t believe it will be possible until after the antichrist is revealed. At this point in time that has not happened and probably won’t be until after the peace accord is signed at the earliest.
