reports of damage or injuries, and no tsunami
warning was issued.
The quake with preliminary magnitude 6.4 struck at 10:17 p.m. local time, 8:17 a.m. ET, and was centered 25 miles below the sea off the coast of Miyagi prefecture, about 190 miles north of Tokyo, according to the ministry.
Jakarta:
Avian Flu Virus 'All Over City'...
Fear
is spreading. So is the bird flu.
In Jakarta, the Indonesian capital, officials admit that "it's very serious. Based on our research, the virus has spread all over the city."
In Tien Giang province, a man was taken to the hospital when saying he had a high fever, the AP reports. He was then taken to isolation. However, he said he needed to get some personal belongings back at his home.

A
new study by Israeli intelligence stated that diplomacy and possible sanctions
against Iran over nuclear weapons have very little time left to be effective.
I have to admit, I’m a little torn between what direction I believe this scenario will take. If Iran continues to defy the world and forge ahead with plans of becoming a nuclear power Israel will be forced to respond to this threat. And they’re certainly not above bombing suspected Iranian sites as they demonstrated back in the early-80s against Iraq.
I wouldn’t rule out force, but there really is no scripture to point us in the direction of Israel attacking Iran. What could possibly take place is Israel attacking and destroying Iran’s nuclear facilities with no retaliation or an unsuccessful retaliation. Iran may indeed strike back with their own air attack but be soundly defeated.
Of course, Iran could put a halt to their nuclear ambitions just before trouble breaks out. It may be due to world pressure or pressure of a possible Israeli strike.
Whichever scenario takes place, in the end, Iran (and the rest of the Arab world) will eventually team with Russia and attack Israel (Ezekiel 38 & 39). That is future.
Another strong quake has hit Japan. It registered a magnitude of 6.4 with no injuries or damage reported. In the past, this earthquake would have gone unreported much less carried by a major news service such as Fox. This is the third major earthquake report in two weeks.
According to Thai and Indonesian health officials, not only is the avian flu virus rampant, they are now seeing the first stages of human-to-human mutation of the disease. If this is the case, world health authorities fear it could kill tens of millions worldwide.
Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt is pushing the idea of a two stage European Union and proposes they change their name to the United States of Europe. He became frustrated with the current system after French and Dutch voters voted down the constitution. In a recent European Commission opinion survey it was found that "people do not want less Europe, but another Europe". Here’s an excerpt of an article on the subject in the EU Observer:
“Mr Verhofstadt calls a
federal EU "the only option."
"Clearly, it makes no sense to keep each other in a strangle hold and keep
squabbling over the way we want to go, while other continents surpass us at high
speed."
Like all federalist thinkers, Mr Verhofstadt finds himself faced with the
dilemma that not all EU states are that keen to participate in a federalist
project.
Again reverting to older ideas, Mr Verhofstadt proposes a two-speed Europe as a
way out of the dilemma, with a core of integrationist states, surrounded by a
circle of states that favour a looser European construction.
The nucleus, with the prestigious "United States of Europe" title,
could consist of the 12 EU states that have adopted the euro, but should be open
to further expansion of states comprising the looser, outer circle of the "Organisation
of European States" - a term that appears to have been borrowed from
eurosceptic Czech president Vaclac Klaus.
Mr Verhofstadt points to the fact that in the history of the United States of
America, not all states immediately adopted the federalist constitution drafted
in 1787, but today, "it is clear...that the choice for the federal model
was the right one." http://euobserver.com/9/20465
He also goes on to state
that he believes the E.U. is long overdue in selecting a permanent president,
foreign minister, army and prosecutor.
This doesn’t surprise me a
bit. It’s not working and I do
look for a number of nations, possibly ten, to either break off from the E.U.
and form the United States of Europe or to adopt the two speed European plan.
I just don’t see the present constitution passing through (all) the
remaining member nations.
You know, the Bible is clear
that the final form of the antichrist’s government would consist of ten
nations with three being subdued by force (Daniel 7:23-25; Revelation 17:12-14).
Although many theories have come and gone, I still have a feeling this
future kingdom will consist of only ten nations.
This leads us to who may
lead this kingdom. I have heard
speculation that ranges from Prince Charles to former President Bill Clinton.
I myself have suggested the antichrist could be UK Prime Minister Tony
Blair. Of course, these are all
guesses based on present conditions. I
have learned over the years that conditions can change in a moment.
We found that out most recently when Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon
shocked the world by resigning and forming a new political party.
Getting back to who will
lead the E.U. The way I see it, I
look for the E.U. to reorganize. It
maybe by force or it may come out of a two speed European plan where only those
who are ready to meet the demands of the E.U. constitution are granted true
membership. I really don’t care
how many start with this program, but the Bible says that there will be ten
nations when the antichrist rules.
Speaking of the antichrist. I have to question those who feel they already know who the antichrist is. Why? Because the Bible says in II Thessalonians 2:3, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition”. Some believe the falling away is a spiritual falling away while others say it is the rapture. I believe this verse is speaking of the rapture. After this event (falling away) takes place God will at some point allow the antichrist to be revealed. When he is revealed he will take the world by storm and change its direction in a very short amount of time. This world will go from worshipping themselves to worshipping a man who literally claims he is God.
This Christmas, as we celebrate the birth of the true King of kings and Lord of lords, remember that there is no Christmas without Christ.
The reason I say this, if you haven’t heard, there is a movement going on where retailers are trying to cut Christ out of Christmas. One retailer went so far as to change the name of the Christmas tree to the holiday tree. Another retailer has refused to allow the Salvation Army to collect donations in front of their store. These are major chains! I didn’t mention the names of these stores because I think most of you have already heard this news. If not, get on the web and go to http://www.lc.org/misc/friend_or_foe.htm. This website is promoting the Liberty Counsel’s “Friend Or Foe Of Christmas Campaign”. Let me tell you, it’s got the liberals on the run and retailers who have kicked Christ out of Christmas back peddling. We Christians need to get informed and boycott any retailer that refuses to pay honor to our Lord on His birthday. This is a national outrage that must not be permitted.
I encourage you to become an active partner in this campaign.
