EUROPE 2020 ALARM / Global Systemic Rupture March 20-26, 2006: Iran/USA - Release Of Global World CrisisComments
Despite U.S. pressure, it looks like the world is willing to
support terrorist group Hamas without recognizing Israel. The Arab
world, Russia and now China have indicated that they will give or at least consider giving aid to Hamas.
I have to say that this does surprise me. With that said, I do expect to see other nations jumping on the Hamas bandwagon in the near future. At this point, I believe the world is sending the message that both Hamas and Israel will have to learn to live with each other despite Hamas' position. Besides, Israel made the mistake of saying they felt an Hamas lead government was no threat to them. But despite the problems, the world is determined to do their best to push peace through no matter what future consequences may come.
Mark Hitchcock, a leading prophecy expert, says peace in the Middle East will be hard to come by until the antichrist comes on the scene. This is what he had to say:
These recent events seem to confirm there will be no lasting peace in the Middle East until the Antichrist arrives on the world scene. According to Daniel 9:27, the seven-year tribulation will begin when the final world rulers make some kind of treaty with Israel that guarantees her security and access to the temple mount in Jerusalem. This peaceful condition for Israel is further described in Ezekiel 38:8 and 11.
While world leaders should continue to do whatever they can to limit violence and bloodshed in the Middle East, I don't believe any lasting results will be achieved until the Antichrist arrives on the scene. Every time peace seems to be reachable it's snatched away suddenly. Rabin is assassinated. Sharon suffers a stroke. Hamas wins a great victory. The Mideast crisis is waiting for that one great leader who can pull off the prize of the century. And Antichrist will be the one who will be able to bring it to pass. His ability to bring peace to this ravaged region will astonish the world and catapult him to a place of prominence that will eventually lead to his blasphemous declaration that he is god.
The growing chaos and desperation for peace is setting the stage for his rise. He may be waiting in the wings right now for his moment of destiny! http://www.leftbehind.com/channelendtimes.asp?pageid=1258&channelID=71
I have to agree with Mr. Hitchcock, I don't expect to see much progress on this side of the rapture. Yes, Israel will probably give into world pressure and give up most of the West bank and maybe even East Jerusalem. They may even get the go ahead to rebuild their temple (I doubt it), but long-term peace won't come until after Christians are gone and the man of sin comes on the stage.
From time to time, I get emails from readers who will give me their pick for who they believe the antichrist will be along with their reasons why. I appreciate my readers input and especially their timely news articles they send me. Even I have named names in the past regarding who I believe will be the antichrist. Certainly, the predictions by me and my readers are based on incomplete knowledge and serve more to make one think than as concrete evidence. Quite frankly, if the antichrist is one of the visible world leaders working on the peace process thus far he's sure doing a terrible job.
I still believe that when the antichrist comes on the scene, he will be so persuasive, even the Arab nations will love him and do as he desires. I know that's hard to believe, but the Bible is clear that no one will be able to resist his power (Revelation 13:1-4). We must remember that satan is the god of this world, and when God gives him the authority to rule, he will be unstoppable.
Here's another link to the prophetic puzzle coming to past before our eyes. Representatives of Iran and Turkey signed a security agreement on Tuesday designed to help combat terrorism and the smuggling of illegal goods between the two countries.
This agreement is big because it is believed by most conservative prophecy scholars that Turkey will be one of the countries who will take part in an attack against Israel by the Russian-Arab coalition during the tribulation period (Ezekiel 38 & 39). In time, look for the security ties of these two Muslim nations to strengthen.
Here's an interesting report. The Laboratoire europen dAnticipation Politique Europe 2020 estimates that there is a greater than 80% chance a major world political crisis will happen during the week of March 20-26. Apparently, the percentage jumps to 100% if a U.S. air strike takes place before or during this timeframe.
A reader sent me this article, and I have to admit, it is interesting. Their analysis reminded me a little of a stock trader program I used to have that was designed to help trader's select stocks at their pick performance. With that said, I encourage you to read it, but I wouldn't put a lot of "stock" in these types of scientific-financial predictions. One thing man has never been able to do without clear revelation from the Lord is predict the future. But I would definitely put it on the back burner to see how close their analysis comes.
