Ahmadinejad: Israel's destruction near...
“The western powers created the Zionist regime in order to expand their control of the area. This regime massacres Palestinians everyday, but since this regime is against nature, we will soon witness its disappearance and destruction,” Ahmadinejad said.

Israel Worried Over Western-Equipped Neighbors
TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel has begun considering the ramifications of Arab allies building their militaries with Western arms and technology.

The General Staff has determined that Israel could be threatened by Western-equipped militaries along its border. The military has been mostly worried over the threat of advanced U.S. weapons in the militaries of Egypt and Jordan.

Olmert: Israel will 'not tolerate' a nuclear Iran...
Israel
will not accept a nuclear Iran, visiting Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert told US television, but while not ruling out military action, said he hoped diplomacy would dissuade Tehran from pursuing its nuclear program.

"We will not tolerate the possession of nuclear weapons by Iran," Olmert told NBC television's "Today Show" program, ahead of talks with President George W. Bush on Iran's nuclear ambitions and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Very recent Iranian-North Korean nuclear collusion revealed
A disturbing piece of US intelligence was due to be laid before the US president George W. Bush’s strategy review conference with the Iraq Study Group and talks with the visiting Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert in Washington. It was bound to color the two events which both took place Monday, Nov. 13: Twelve days before North Korea’s first nuclear test on Oct.10, a secret Iranian military delegation of nuclear and missile experts was present in Pyongyang. The visitors were taken round North Korea’s Yongbyon reactor and the Punggye-ri testing site in the far north amid the preparations for the coming North Korean test.

Bush to Olmert: No international peace convention
WASHINGTON - The Olmert-Bush summit which took place in the White House Monday failed to provide any real news. The prime minister said that his stance against an international peace convention was backed by the American president.

"There will be no international convention on the Palestinian issue which will replace direct negotiations," Olmert said, quoting Bush.

Hamas: PA gov't won't recognize Israel
Moussa Abu Marzouk, deputy to the Damascus-based Hamas political bureau leader Khaled Mashaal, said Monday night that the planned Palestinian unity government would not recognize Israel and was not required to.

The announcement came after Fatah and Hamas came to a groundbreaking agreement earlier Monday on the formation of a unity government after months of negotiations and setbacks.

EU: Palestinian unity gov't must recognize Israel
The European Union will insist that any new Palestinian unity government respects international demands to recognize Israel, renounce violence and commit to new peace talks, a top EU official said Monday.

Olmert: We'll talk to PA unity gov't if Hamas recognizes Israel
Israel will negotiate with a Hamas-Fatah unity government if the Islamic group recognizes Israel and renounces violence, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said in a rare interview published Monday in a Palestinian newspaper.

Annan: Arab-Israel conflict not regional
UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan said Monday that any effort to stop growing violence between Islamic and Western societies must include an end to the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Annan spoke after receiving a report from a high-level group of experts on ways to alleviate Muslim-Western clashes and misunderstandings.

Bush: Nuclear Iran would be 'very destabilizing' force
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said at a joint press conference with US President George W. Bush Monday evening that he was not opposed to negotiations with Syria, but that as long as the country supported Hamas and Damascus-based leader Khaled Mashaal, such negotiations would not be possible.

Iranian President Mahoud Ahmadinejad is at it again.  In his most recent interview he declared that Israel's destruction was very near.  He went on to blame western powers for the failed creation of a Jewish state in the middle of Arab lands.  Their reason...power and to establish a western presence.

“The western powers created the Zionist regime in order to expand their control of the area. This regime massacres Palestinians everyday, but since this regime is against nature, we will soon witness its disappearance and destruction,” Ahmadinejad said. http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3327439,00.html

At the same time, Israel says they cannot accept a nuclear armed Iran. "We will not tolerate the possession of nuclear weapons by Iran. This is not an issue of Israel only. It is a moral issue of the whole world and the whole world has to stop it," Olmert said.  http://www.breitbart.com/news/2006/11/13/061113135607.0h94c19j.html

Researchers, political and religious leaders met in Turkey on Monday to brainstorm how they might bridge the gap between the different cultures...mainly the Islamic world and the West.  The focus of the summit was on a UN report that stated that the answer to the world's problems were not found in any religious book.  The gap between cultures could not and would not be mended until people learned how to treat one another.  Sounds like the typical UN summit...obvious observations with no real answers.  They did, however, offer direction as to where to start, and yes, it was Israel.

"The authors said they wished to emphasize the 'urgency' of the Palestinian issue, which forms a significant factor to the growing tear between Muslim society and Western society, the report said.

The authors said that without a 'fair, respectable, democratic' solution to the problem, based on the good intentions of all involved to end the conflict, all efforts to bridge the cultural gap would fail." http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3327592,00.html

This is exactly what the Bible predicted thousands of years ago, that in the last days (after the rebirth of Israel), Jerusalem and the state of Israel would become a constant worry to the nations of the world.  Take a look at Zechariah 12:2, 3:

"And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be torn in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it."

The first half of this prophecy has already come to pass with the second half around the corner.

It amazes me that the UN would call in leaders from all over the world in an attempt to try and figure out a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian problem.  And if that weren't enough, their findings showed that if the Israeli situation were corrected it could bridge the gap between the Islamic and western worlds.

For sometime now, the West (mainly the U.S.) has been selling huge amounts of advanced weaponry to Israel's neighbors.  Israel is starting to get a little nervous and they have good reason to.  The two main countries Israel is worried about most, Jordan and Egypt, are prophesied to play a major role in a future attack against Israel.

Are you ready to meet the Lord?  If not, your time is running out!
