Bush acknowledges need for Mideast peace push

Baker wants international forum without Israel, 'without Jewish pressure'
The panel headed by James Baker is calling for an international conference that would exclude Israel's participation in order 'to reach an agreement without Jewish influence'. The conference is designed to give terror sponsors and human right violators like Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Iran all of what they want, while leaving Israel out in the cold. Jihadist and terror groups hailed news of the report as 'a victory for jihad all over the world'.

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has rejected outright the US government's Iraq Study Group (ISG) report and has placed his confidence in U.S. president George Bush to come to a reasonable conclusion.

"To the best of my knowledge, President Bush also had a different opinion on this matter. I don't know what the president will decide regarding the report, but I can say that the views that I heard from the president and from all leading administration officials on the matter of Syria were that there is no possibility of negotiations - neither American-Syrian nor Israeli-Syrian. I very much trust the president's measured consideration and responsibility." http://www.israelnationalnews.com/news.php3?id=117021

In short this is what the ISG Report intends to accomplish:

"The comprehensive ISG report, which primarily addresses the situation in Iraq, was prepared by former US Secretary of State James Baker and former Democratic congressman Lee Hamilton. It claims that if the United States does not take a more leading role in the Mideast Israel-Arab conflict, there is no hope of America achieving its goals in the region. To that end, the Baker-Hamilton report recommends a summit based on the 1991 Madrid Conference model - a meeting of regional leaders that would be aimed at solving the conflict between Israel, the PA, Syria and Lebanon. In addition to an Israeli withdrawal from the Golan, the report calls upon Israel to recognize the establishment of a Palestinian state."  http://www.israelnationalnews.com/news.php3?id=117021

Something else of concern hid deep in the 160-page report was a reference to Palestinians' right of return.  This has sent shockwaves around the world and caught many Middle East policy experts by surprise.

"This report is worrisome for Israel particularly because, for the first time, it mentions the question of the 'right of return' for the Palestinian refugees of 1948," said a senior Israeli official. http://www.breitbart.com/news/2006/12/06/061206204349.qjq06iek.html

This doesn't shock me in the least bit.  Little by little Israel will be forced to accept a Palestinian state, give back the Golan Heights and the West Bank (and probably more), share Jerusalem, and accept the Palestinians' right of return.  It wouldn't surprise me if the coming peace agreement was forced upon them.

British Prime Minister Tony Blair is in the news and he's talking about his Middle East peace mission. He's at the White House trying to get President Bush on board.

Prime Minister Blair's belief is that the conflict in Iraq is tied directly to the ongoing trouble between the Arab world and Israel.  He has long believed if we can bring peace to the Middle East we can bring peace to the world.  President Bush acknowledged that more energy needed to be devoted to bringing peace to the region but fell short of linking it to the troubles in Iraq.

I'm not declaring him (Tony Blair) to be the antichrist but I certainly wouldn't rule him out.  His time is short as prime minister of the U.K. but I do expect him to be on the world political scene long after he leaves office.

Actually, it matters little who is talking about peace right now...the antichrist will be given the power (by God) through satan to get the deal done.

When the rapture takes place God may have Tony Blair positioned to step right in and bring peace to the region.  When satan realizes he is unopposed (by the Holy Spirit), he will at that time put what he believes is his plan into action.  This plan will start with selecting his antichrist and false prophet completing the unholy trinity.

Again, I have no idea who the antichrist is and certainly no one else does either.  If the truth is known, satan more than likely doesn't even know.  The thing many don't understand is that this is God's plan not satan's.  He's just a major character playing a part in this end-time scenario.

But getting back to the ISG Report.  This certainly doesn't look good for Israel and we may be witnessing the beginning of a long awaited betrayal by the U.S.

Are you ready to meet the Lord?  If not, your time is running out!
