Al-Qaeda is in the process of trying to locate nuclear sites that are poorly guarded (which most are) and contained all the necessary materials to create a nuclear device. The main ingredient they are looking for is enriched uranium.

"Al-Qaeda is searching for nuclear technology," [Rolf] Ekeus said. "They are looking for simple weapons... for mass destruction," he added. "Of the 130 research reactors (with highly enriched uranium), very few of them have adequate protection." http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3404467,00.html

Mr. Ekeus is currently High Commissioner at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), and formerly Director of the UN Special Commission on Iraq.

If you have been a reader of mine for any length of time you know that I believe that terrorism will likely play an important role in the next major world war described in Revelation chapter 6. It's highly possible that it may be the catalyst for what causes this great war.

It's amazing to me that in these last days there is an organization that is dedicated even unto death to bring about worldwide chaos.
