shock: Arab League plans historic trip (Thursday) to Israel to discuss sweeping move toward peace with Israel

In a historical move from the Arab League, for the first time they will be sending envoys to Israel to speak on sweeping moves toward a peace agreement. Diplomats from Egypt and Jordan have been selected to represent the league in a meeting planned for Thursday.

"This is the first time the Arab League is coming to Israel," Regev said. "From its inception the Arab League has been hostile to Israel. It will be the first time we'll be flying the Arab League flag." Arab League Secretary Amr Moussa said Sunday, "The upcoming visit of Egypt's and Jordan's foreign ministers to Israel upon the request of the Arab committee of peace initiative is to conduct necessary contacts with Israel." http://www.eitb24.com/noticia/en/B24_56795

The meeting was called after Israel announced that they would be releasing 250 Palestinian prisoners in a gesture to bolster Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' government. For some reason they don't view Abbas' government to be a terrorist organization...or maybe they're just the lesser of two evils.

At the same time, secret meetings are taking place in Stockholm between Fatah and Hamas representatives in an attempt to patch up things between the two terrorist organizations. Iranian and Saudi ambassadors are guiding the meetings. No doubt this is a great press opportunity for Iran and the Saudis. But that hasn't stopped Abbas from hammering Hamas in the media and encouraging the US along with other countries to continue to boycott against them (Hamas).

US intelligence sources are saying that Syria-Hezbollah and Iran are warning Lebanese citizens to leave Lebanon due to what has been called a military eruption that will take place in the next week or so. This is coming ahead of a July 16th reprimand against Iran by the UN Security Council. Sources say that the 'major trouble' is an attempt to delay the reprimand.

Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari says that Turkey has amassed 144,000 troops on the Iraqi northern border. Although he concedes that an attack against Kurdish rebels is justifiable, he hopes Turkey will choose a diplomatic solution. The US is also trying to persuade Turkey not to attack, but Turkey has long complained that the US is not doing enough to keep Kurdish rebels from crossing the border and wreaking havoc. Tthe US claims they have too much on their plate and is unable to patrol the area.

Needless to say, this is a very volatile time. The Middle East is in a complete uproar but peace is possible. As I said in the past, we're going to have war or peace in the very near future.

First things first. Will Hamas and Fatah agree to get back together? Although I like my theory of cutting off Hamas/Gaza and making the Palestinian state the West Bank and East Jerusalem its capital, I have to believe they will get back together. And I believe it will work this time due to the overwhelming outpour of support for Chairman Abbas. I think Hamas has realized if they are to survive in this world of diplomacy they will have to roll with world opinion no matter how much it hurts.

What will come of this surprise change of heart by the Arab League? The Arab League is coming to further discuss the Saudi plan and make what they call sweeping proposals that will eventually bring peace and Arab recognition to Israel.

This will surely happen...eventually! Are we on the verge of seeing peace come to the Middle East? That could be very possible, but one thing is for sure, it will happen in time just like the Bible said it would. Whether this will be the moment at which it happens is up to the Lord, but it's amazing to watch as we see Bible prophecy being carried out right before our eyes. Today, we are one day closer to becoming of the Lord.

Certainly, this summer will tell us a lot before it's over.

PS: Does Blair's so called admission of talking to God over the Iraq War disqualify him from being the antichrist? Well it doesn't help it...but what the antichrist will do once he is possessed by satan has little (or nothing) to do with what he will do or say today. Let's face it, Judas was an actual follower of Jesus' up until he betrayed him...and even after, he showed great remorse for what he had done to point of committing suicide. We'll have to wait until the antichrist is revealed before we will ever know for sure.
