US pressure on Israel for a Palestinian state forseen; Yesha Council: beware of steps towards Palestinian state

As many gear up for a high level Middle East summit in November, some Israeli military insiders fear that the US and other moderate Middle East nations will try to pressure Israel into agreeing to a Palestinian state whose borders will be a few short miles from Tel Aviv.

IDF Col. (res.) Moti Yogev, believes that this upcoming Middle East summit is set up to put Israel in a very vulnerable position.

"With a quiet and densely-packed timetable," writes IDF Col. (res.) Moti Yogev, "the US Administration is cooking up, together with Prime Minister Olmert and Abu Mazen, very fateful plans for the State of Israel. The US will apply very heavy pressure on Israel to agree to understandings that will form the basis of the declaration of a Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria within just two months."

Yogev explains that the Bush Administration is working under the pressure of the 2008 elections. "By then," Yogev posits, "Bush plans to hit the Iranian nuclear infrastructures. This is why he is in such a rush to give the Palestinians and the moderate Moslem states fat weapons deals and a Palestinian state - in order to silence them in anticipation of the planned attack on Iran."

"Bush has partners," Yogev continues, "Abu Mazen and Olmert, and the common denominator for all of them is their unpleasant political situation, which is prodding them to take steps they hope will improve their standing." http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/123345

MK Yuval Shteinitz (Likud) said this morning that Israel needs to wake up before they find themselves surrounded by a Palestinian state that is heavily influenced by Iran. "This summit could well lead to a Palestinian state, with clear Hamas and Iranian influence, right on the doorstep of Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Ben Gurion International Airport. Even if it just serves as a small support for this idea, the summit is something that we must not allow." http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/123345

In other news, over the last 12 months Syria has been studying data from the Second Lebanon War and since has been investing heavily in the most advanced military systems available. Israeli intelligence now believes that Syria may have the most sophisticated and advanced anti-aircraft system in the world. In fact, some of the technology that they have acquired from Russia is so cutting edge it came right off the assembly line and has not yet even been integrated into the Russian defense system.

From the lessons they have learned, Syria is concentrating on the purchase of weapons that will defeat Israel's air supremacy over the region. This has signaled a major red flag in IDF intelligence and is believed to be a characteristic that Syria is planning for war with Israel in the near future.

There's no question, Israel finds themselves between a rock and a hard place. They very well could be embroiled in a regional war with Syria, Hezbollah, Hamas, Iran and any number of other Islamic nations before the end of the year. At the same time, they could be pressured into making suicidal land concessions and prisoner releases to avoid war.

For years I have predicted the day would come when the US would pressure Israel into agreeing to a dangerous peace accord and eventually turning their back on them. Could this be that day?

Certainly, this could be a precursor to the rapture of the church and the ushering in of the antichrist to bring about peace to the region. Of course, the peace plan of the antichrist may not be accomplished until years down the road.

What is the true answer to the future? That's anyone's guess, but I think we can say with some certainty that something prophetic is about to happen.
