Iran Letter
To Bush Criticizes U.S. Govt...
Iran's president declared in a letter to President
Bush that democracy had failed worldwide and lamented "an
ever-increasing global hatred" of the U.S. government. Secretary
of State Condoleezza
Rice swiftly rejected the letter, saying it didn't resolve questions about
Tehran's suspect nuclear program.
Russia
And China Press For Changes To Iran Draft As Security Council Meets
Russia
and China stuck to their demands for major changes to a draft resolution that
would legally oblige Iran to halt uranium enrichment as the UN
Security Council held informal consultations on the text.
The 15 members of the council huddled at Britain's UN mission here hours after the body's five veto-wielding permanent members -- Britain, China, France, Russia and the United States -- met but apparently failed to bridge their differences.
'Iran
Wants To Change World Order'
"Wiping Israel off the map is just one step in Iran's attempt to create
a new world order," said Brig.-Gen Yosef Kuperwasser, head of the IDF
Military Intelligence's research division.
"Iran is interested not only in turning into a superpower, but also in changing the world order," Kuperwasser said at a conference on power projection at the Fisher Institute of Strategic Studies in Herzliya.
"Iran is at the forefront of global terrorism, and aids Hizbullah in Lebanon, al Qaida, and Palestinian terror organizations, and is behind attacks on US armed forces in Iraq," the general asserted.
Why
Iran Is Driving Oil Up
May 15-22, 2006 issue - Shahpour Madani, feeling flush, was cruising electronics
shops on Tehran's Jomhuri Street earlier this month for a flat-screen digital
television. He figured he could afford either a sleek new Sony, or a
refrigerator for his wife. Decisions, decisions. "I haven't had so much
money in a long time," said Madani, an accountant at the Ministry of
Agriculture who got a raise last month and bonuses in March. "It's really
fun to watch soccer games on a big TV." And there were so many
home-entertainment possibilities to choose from. Up and down Jomhuri Street, you
see masses of Malaysian DVD players, Japanese sound systems, Chinese VCRs, a
consumer paradise the likes of which Iranians haven't come across for decades.
ISRAEL:
IRAN 'CAN ALSO BE WIPED OFF THE MAP'
Vice Premier Shimon Peres said Monday in an interview to Reuters that
"the president of Iran should remember that Iran can also be wiped off the
map," Army Radio reported.
Flying
Robot Attack 'Unstoppable'...
It may sound like science fiction, but the prospect that suicide bombers and
hijackers could be made redundant by flying robots is a real one, according to
experts.
The technology for remote-controlled light aircraft is now highly advanced, widely available -- and, experts say, virtually unstoppable.

Reports: The “Cash-Strapped” Palestinian Fatah And Hamas Direct Large-Scale
Funds To Military Preparations For Their Coming Showdown
While deep in long, fruitless talks with Hamas prime
minister Ismail Haniya, Palestinian Authority chairman Abu Mazen over the
weekend issued secret directives for mobilizing recruits to his private army and
the release of cash from the “Arafat Fund” to pay their wages.
This is reported by DEBKAfile’s exclusive sources.
Fatah and Hamas are organizing their forces for the armed showdown building up between them over top spot in Palestinian government.
North
Korea Trying To Weaponize Bird Flu
LONDON – The pariah state of North Korea is trying to weaponize the
bird flu virus, making it the ideal threat for al-Qaida, the British
intelligence agency MI6 has learned.
The Bush administration has given briefings classified "Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information" to members of Congress and the Senate on the threat.

Take
a look at this excerpt regarding the newest terrorist weapon that is undetectable by radar and has been
deemed 'unstoppable' by military experts:
"On May 1 the US website Defensetech published an article by military technology specialist David Hambling, entitled "Terrorists' unmanned air force".
"While billions have been spent on ballistic missile defense, little attention has been given to the more imminent threat posed by unmanned air vehicles in the hands of terrorists or rogue states," writes Hambling.
Armed militant groups have already tried to use unmanned aircraft, according to a number of studies by institutions including the Center for Nonproliferation studies in Monterey, California, and the Center for Arms Control, Energy and Environmental Studies in Moscow.
In August 2002, for example, the Colombian military reported finding nine small remote-controlled planes at a base it had taken from the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).
On April 11, 2005 the Lebanese Shiite militia group, Hezbollah, flew a pilotless drone over Israeli territory, on what it called a "surveillance" mission. The Israeli military confirmed this and responded by flying warplanes over southern Lebanon.
Remote-control planes are not hard to get hold of, according to Jean-Christian Delessert, who runs a specialist model airplane shop near Geneva.
"Putting together a large-scale model is not difficult -- all you need is a few materials and a decent electronics technician," says Delessert.
In his view, "if terrorists get hold of that, it will be impossible to do anything about it. We did some tests with a friend who works at a military radar base: they never detected us... if the radar picks anything up, it thinks it is a flock of birds and automatically wipes it."
Japanese company Yamaha, meanwhile, has produced 95-kilogram (209-pound) robot helicopter that is 3.6 metres (11.8 feet) long and has a 256 cc engine.
It flies close to the ground at about 20 kilometres per hour (12 miles per hour), nothing but an incredible stroke of luck could stop it if it suddenly appeared in the sky above the White House -- and it is already on the market.
Bruce Simpson, an engineer from New Zealand, managed to produce an even more dangerous contraption in his own garage: a mini-cruise missile. He made it out of readily available materials at a cost of less than 5,000 dollars (4,000 euros)." http://www.breitbart.com/news/2006/05/09/060509055355.jjazoykq.html
Here's another example of how evil this world has become. Apparently, North Korea is trying to figure out how to weaponize bird flu. I realize other countries have created various gases and chemicals and incorporated them in their military arsenals but this is just an attempt to put fear in the hearts of people around the world. It's just plain evil!Israeli military leaders have promised newly appointed Justice Minister Haim Ramon that virtually all of the West Bank security fence will be completed by years end.
This is another reason I believe that something prophetically significant is about to happen. In Ezekiel 38:11, it says that in the day that Israel is attacked they will be dwelling safely in their land without walls. Of course, the phrase "without walls" can be taken metaphorically, but I tend to believe that the security wall will be torn down (as part of the peace agreement) when the antichrist comes on the scene.
Reaction to the letter sent to U.S. President Bush from Iranian President Ahmadinejad was negative and basically said that a U.S. attempt to spread democracy had failed. Personally, I believe democracy will not only succeed but even flourish if the leadership of that country will allow it.
Iran doesn't look like they are ready to change directions anytime soon especially with China and Russia in their corner...and with more and more countries jumping on the Iranian bandwagon...it will take a miracle to head off a possible showdown.
I wrote an article back in October of 2001 that seems to spell out the direction that the Gulf War scenario has taken and why Israel may eventually be abandoned in their greatest hour. Here is an excerpt that describes a few possible future events.
"One, I still believe that the United States is Mystery Babylon, and one day, Babylon will be attacked and destroyed in a single day. For God will put it in their (Revived Roman Empire) hearts to destroy them (Rev. 17:16, 17). This will happen in our lifetime.
I'm not sure how many more Islamic countries we can attack before the entire federation comes together for a real holy war. Iraq and Afghanistan are just the beginning. Who's next and will it finally be the last straw.
Two, the U.S. gets in over its head. I really don't think that the U.S. is ready to face the threat of constant attack from suicide bombers promised eternal life with seventy-two virgins. As time passes, support for the so-called anti-terrorism coalition could lose steam after several failed attempts to capture suspected terrorists around the world. I can see many countries (especially those not directly related) growing weary of the continuous attacks on terrorist harboring nations. Many will become less and less receptive to the coalition in the use of their bases and airspace. Although, there will be some positive results, time will leave many coalition partners discouraged. There will be a lot of finger pointing and much of it will be directed toward Israel.
Truthfully, I feel that many world leaders will come to the conclusion that if Israel is eliminated much of the terrorism will simply go away. They may ultimately become the sacrificial lamb offered up to the terrorists of the world.
There is a sub-scenario that is always looming to scenario number two. Terrorism remains rampant, and Israel and the PLO are still at odds. The economy in America has gone from bad to worse and the repercussions are being felt worldwide. Nothing seems to be working. From virtual anonymity, a man rises from the E.U. He will come in power and might. He will be seen as a savior and will promise peace. He will deceive many." http://www.calvaryprophecy.com/q76.html
