World Science Community: 2010 Weather Most Extreme, Weird, & Deadly In Generation; Bible Said Last Generation Would Be
This was the year the Earth struck back.
Earthquakes, heat waves, floods, volcanoes, super typhoons, blizzards, landslides and droughts killed at least a quarter million people in 2010 — the deadliest year in more than a generation. More people were killed worldwide by natural disasters this year than have been killed in terrorism attacks in the past 40 years combined.
"It just seemed like it was back-to-back and it came in waves," said Craig Fugate, who heads the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency. It handled a record number of disasters in 2010.
"The term `100-year event' really lost its meaning this year."
And we have ourselves to blame most of the time, scientists and disaster experts say.
Even though many catastrophes have the ring of random chance, the hand of man made this a particularly deadly, costly, extreme and weird year for everything from wild weather to earthquakes (AP).
Scientists and experts from around the globe are calling 2010 the most extreme, weird, and deadly year for weather in more than a generation. I don't expect this trend to let up in the coming years either, in fact, I expect it to get worse as the years go by just as Jesus predicted long ago for these last days. In talking about this time period, Jesus said, "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows (Mark 13:8)." Of course, you can expect this to get a lot worse during the tribulation period, but the time leading up to that final moment I believe will increase in intensity. If this is correct, I have to believe that 2011 will even be worse.
One other thing, this article was not taken from some crazy conspiracy theory magazine or website. The information was derived from legitimate world scientists and reported by a respected news source the Associated Press. They have no Christian influence or bias, but in fact argue that the unusual weather is for the most part man-made. However, God is clear that the last generation would experience such weather patterns as one of the signs of His return.
Certainly, science would never give one ounce of credit to end-time Bible prophecy for this unusual weather. Little do they know, that is exactly what they are doing by indirectly verifying what the Bible predicted some 2000 years ago.
Are you ready to meet the Lord? If not, your time id running out!
