Dear Pastor Malone:
I am a
woman who is a lesbian, and I read your answer to a enquiry about homosexuality.
Can you answer a question for me? You would agree would you not that God
created us all? Then how can it be wrong to be gay? I believe that
God made me as I am and surely he didn't make a mistake making a gay
person! I have felt this way since I was 10 years old, and believe it or
not, I was brought up properly and I went to a Christian church, asked the lord
into my life, and when I asked about my sexuality (that I wanted to have a
stable relationship with another woman) I was told that I WAS FULL OF
EVIL. I cannot believe that the God who made me made a mistake and I
believe that I WILL SEE YOU IN PARADISE. The bible was passed down
to us by prophets then the disciples who wrote Jesus' teachings. So do you
think it possible that Paul for instance who didn't like homosexuals could have
included some of his views?...

Thanks for your question. God
did not make a mistake when He created you. There's one thing that you
must realize...God has laid down rules for a healthy and holy life. Do you
believe that the whole Bible is God inspired totally true? I do!
To tell you the truth if you
would have written me and told me that you were involved in an adulterous
relationship I would tell you the same thing. You're living in sin if you
are involved in this type of lifestyle. Fornication, adultery or homosexuality
are all lifestyles that the Bible condemns throughout both Old and New Testament.
There is absolutely no clue of God even remotely accepting these sins in the
Bible in any form.
Personally, I think you are
taking a huge chance for the sake of sex and companionship. The
relationship will never bare a child like God intended nor will it bring the
holy joy that a normal relationship between a man and a woman can bring.
I'm not going to condemn
you. But I will tell you what I tell all that are living a life contrary
to the Word of God, confess your sin and turn from it. Ask the Lord to
forgive you and to heal you of this sinful lifestyle. Then stop going back
to the same places and people that have drug you back into this lifestyle.
If you are to be free you must walk away completely.
Also, stop reasoning within
yourself that you were born this way. If you don't want to have a
relationship with men then stay single and pour your life into serving the Lord.
Actually, that's what God would prefer that you do anyway. For some
reason, those who are engaged in homosexual behavior think that just because
they're not interested in the opposite sex they still must seek a relationship.
If God does not sanction it then don't have a relationship. Take a look at
I Corinthians 7. This chapter deals with marriage and really
discourages it if you are single when you come to the Lord.
I really believe you are playing with fire. The Bible says that those that practice homosexual behavior will not go to heaven. You say that you feel God made you this way therefore it must be okay. I can only tell you that the Word of God is true and you are playing with your eternal destiny. No relationship or sex is worth that. You're better off staying out of both a man or woman's bed and dying a virgin then to face the Lord in your state right now.
But you can make it all
right and turn to the Lord and ask Him to free you from this sin. But
that's up to you, I can't make that decision for you.
Your life is more than sex
and a physical relationship. The truth is God created you to have fellowship
with Him, but if He brings someone into your life here on earth that's a bonus.
Please don't let this sin
separate you from God.
