Israel: 'Iran Is World's Most Serious Threat Since WWII'...
Israel's Ambassador to the United States Danny Ayalon said on Tuesday morning that Iran is the biggest problem facing the world since World War II.

He said the UN Security Council must force Iran to accept real supervision that would prevent the further development of its nuclear program.

If they continue with their plans, Ayalon warned, Iran may have the know-how needed for the production of nuclear weapons by the end of the year.

Scientist Predicts 'Mini Ice Age'
ST. PETERSBURG, Russia, Feb. 7 (UPI) -- A Russian astronomer has predicted that Earth will experience a "mini Ice Age" in the middle of this century, caused by low solar activity.

Khabibullo Abdusamatov of the Pulkovo Astronomic Observatory in St. Petersburg said Monday that temperatures will begin falling six or seven years from now, when global warming caused by increased solar activity in the 20th century reaches its peak, RIA Novosti reported.

The coldest period will occur 15 to 20 years after a major solar output decline between 2035 and 2045, Abdusamatov said.

The Temple Institute In Jerusalem Has The Blue Robe For The High Priest
In a press release put out by the Temple Institute in Jerusalem, an organization of Orthodox Jews now says that they have completed their work on the blue robe for the High Priest.

Israel has stepped up its rhetoric against Iran by saying that they are the biggest threat facing the world since World War II.  That will turn out to be true but not without the help of Russia.  

On the other side of the world U.S. military strategists are saying that China is the newest major world threat.

What's really amazing is that the Bible predicted two thousand years ago that in the last days (after Israel becomes a nation) Russia would have a relationship with Iran (Ezekiel 38:1-20) and China would rise to be a military power (Revelation 9:13-20).  One day soon a Russian led Arab coalition will march against Israel and China will rise up and march from the east to the west destroying all in its path.  We know that the Bible says that at least one and probably both events will take place during the tribulation period.

Hamas is still hanging on to their charter belief of denying Israel's existence with the goal of one day destroying them.  Egypt is negotiating with Hamas to tone down their public stance toward Israel and to play a more behind the scene role in the new Palestinian government.  Eventually, I think they will in light of their long-term goal.

I had a reader ask a question regarding my last article on the mark of the beast.  I felt it was a good question and brought how most people are thinking in terms of the mark.  Here is the question and my answer in full.

Hi Pastor Malone    

I just finished reading your comments on the dreaded mark of the beast.  I agree with you.  But I have another but similar question.   Everyone seems be leaning toward the Verichip as the mark.  I too, am leaning that way until someone comes along with something more plausible.   Around the world people are taking the chip in places like the shoulder, left upper arm, and the two Princes of England have one implanted in their heel.  It is a big deal in Spain and many are taking it, but none seem to be taking it in their right hand or forehead.   I have a friend that says since they are not taking it in their right hand or forehead, that it is not the mark.  And he will accept the verichip if he can put it somewhere other than the right hand or forehead.   I say, if you are chipped, you are chipped.  If the verichip is the dreaded mark, and it is not in the right hand or forehead, is it still the mark?  Has one accepted the mark if it is somewhere other than the Biblical reference?   I say that if its anywhere on the body, its still scanable.  What say you on this subject. God bless you brother and keep on keeping on.  We are now one day closer.

What most people fail to understand is that this is not about the mark but about a man who will claim to be God and force the world to serve him.  On top of that, he will make every soul take a mark (whatever it is it doesn't matter) on the right hand or forehead.   

If the U.S. government came to me tomorrow and said for the sake of fighting terrorism every American or legal alien has to go to the social security administration and get implanted I would do it.  They may say we will restrict your travel throughout the U.S. without it, but it will help us track criminals or possible terrorists.  If that was the purpose I would do it.

Now if the president, in one of his speeches to the nation, got up and said that he was God, that we must worship him, and demanded that we all get an implant, then I would have to pass.  But until that day comes an implant is just another isolated security or tracking device.   When I say isolated, I mean restricted to just a portion of the world (U.S.).

When the Antichrist comes on the scene, he will claim to be God to the whole world and will have the power to make every person take the mark or die.  As powerful as the president is he doesn't have that kind of world power.  

Yes, we should be aware of the various devices that are available to make the mark feasible but many more things will have to happen before we will see something of this nature as the mark.  

Here is a series of events taken straight from the Bible that must happen before the mark can be introduced by the antichrist.  That doesn't mean that the technology isn't available today or in use at this time. 

1. Antichrist must march into the Jerusalem temple and declare himself to be God (Daniel 9:27, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12).  

2. Antichrist will demand worship from the whole world and he will receive it (Revelation 13:8).

3. The False Prophet, the antichrist's high priest, will do wondrous signs causing lightening to come down from the sky and other miracles (Revelation 13:11-14).

4. The False Prophet will erect a statue of the Antichrist and make it speak (Revelation 13:14-15).

5. When the image of the beast (statue) speaks he will demand that everyone must worship the Antichrist and take a mark either on their forehead or on their right hand (Revelation 13:15-17).

6. Whoever does not take this mark will not be able to buy or sell (Revelation 13:17).

According to the literal Word of God these six events must take place before the worldwide mark of the beast can be revealed by the Antichrist.  The funny thing is we can't get past event number one without the rebuilding of the Jerusalem temple. 

Something else I find interesting regarding the mark is found in Revelation 13:17.

"And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."

This passage lists three possibilities for the mark.  1) It may just be a mark, 2) it may be the name of the beast or 3) it may be the number of his name. Certainly, it doesn't really matter.  Either you have the identification mark or you don't.  It need not be complicated, but due to our fast pace technological society, we feel somehow that it must be.  And I'm not saying that it won't turn out to be some advanced verichip hybrid. 

Those are my thoughts.
