Barack Obama elected 44th US president; U.S. becomes Obamanation; Israel Uneasy Over an Obama Administration
America has spoken, giving Barack Obama a decisive victory in the 2008 US presidential race. He will have a monumental task of repairing the economy, overseeing our military operations, and keeping the country safe from terrorism. In the next issue of DEBKA-Net-Weekly, Debkafile, an international intelligence online newspaper, says Al Qaeda will be testing the new US president by opening up a third anti-US front in the Horn of Africa:
"The coming DEBKA-Net-Weekly discloses al Qaeda’s plan to test the mettle of the incoming US president Barack Obama by opening a third anti-US war front in the Horn of Africa - in addition to the raging conflicts in Afghanistan and Pakistan."

This Democratic victory most certainly means the death of the pro-life movement with the eventual election of two more liberal and pro-choice Supreme Court justices. Also, look for a major push toward the family unit being redefine/destroyed over the next four to eight years.
This is what I see for the immediate future: Now that Israel knows who the next US president will be, they will have a decision to make before Mr. Obama takes office in late January of 2009. Many military experts believe if Israel is to destroy Iran's nuclear facilities it will have to be done before the change of the US administration. If they were to elect to do this during the coming months it would be a major step forward in Bible prophecy and would bring about multiple unknown consequences.
China will finally march on Taiwan once and for all reclaiming the breakaway island province. It would not be surprising if North Korea declared war on South Korea, but I do not see that taking place until after the rapture of the church.
Terrorist organizations such as Al Qaeda will surely test newly elected President Obama as they embark on new military and terrorist campaigns that will eventually pierce the borders of the US.
Russia will begin a campaign of reclaiming breakaway states such as Georgia and the Ukraine as the US looks on in protest. As Russia continues to make its presence known in Libya, Syria, Iran and other parts of the Middle East, they will embark on a battle against Israel that will come as a great storm (Ezekiel 38:9).
The European Union has sent a letter to Mr. Obama congratulating him on his victory and asking for a "new deal for a new world."
"Mr Barroso assured the US President-elect of his support when both Brussels and Washington will 'face together the many challenges ahead of us.'"
"'We need a new deal for a new world. I sincerely hope that with the leadership of President Obama, the United States of America will join forces with Europe to drive this new deal,' he added, using the same term as the Democratic predecessor of Obama in the White House, Franklin D. Roosevelt." EUObserver
There is no question that we have kicked into a new gear in Bible prophecy. Certainly, the prophetic winds of change started long before today, but I definitely believe we are entering a new Era that cannot and will not be reversed until the Lord returns to rule the earth.
