Obama Antichrist? Not Likely, But His Inexperience Could Make Way For Antichrist
According to sources, the Indian and Pakistani armed forces have been put on high alert. Pakistan has diverted their forces from the Afghan border to the Indian border to confront the rumblings of a possible convention war. Many fear, if war does break out, it could eventually turn nuclear. At some point in time, this nuclear nightmare will take place. Is it coincidental that the rumblings of nuclear war are upon us in this moment of 'change'?
Speaking of change, President-Elect Obama's administrative selections are beginning to look a lot like the Clinton/Bush administrations. I guess he has reconsidered his promise of replacing all the Washington insiders with fresh thinking outsiders. You can bet that wasn't the first lie (change) he told the American people and it won't be the last.
One of his new appointees, Samantha Power, once proposed that the US invade Israel in order to impose a Palestinian-Israeli peace accord. This is definitely not out of the realm of possibilities in the very near future. I firmly believe, when Israel does sign this peace accord, it will include a detailed timeframe for the division of Jerusalem. Israel will be expected to have this division completed by the agreed-upon date. But following the miraculous destruction of the invading armies of Gog and Magog (Ezekial 38 & 39), and the recapturing of the Temple Mount, I believe Israel will have a change of heart. Many in Israel will once again look to God as their Savior and remember the promises He made regarding Jerusalem. This will begin a national rebellion that will eventually force the leaders of Israel to turn away from their international promise to divide Jerusalem. I believe this breach will bring down global forces upon Israel (Armageddon) in an attempt to impose the peace deal on the Jewish state.
Here's a big move that will likely pick up steam internationally. Lebanon has recognized the state of Palestine (PLO) and has set them up with an embassy in Beirut. You can bet many other nations will follow suit in the near future. This will put a tremendous amount of pressure on Israel to comply with international demands that they recognize Palestine, set up an embassy, and sign a peace accord.
Current rotating EU President Nicholas Sarkozy is calling for an 'inclusive' G8 membership. This is not a major announcement, just another power move by the French president. His term as rotating EU president will be over at the end of this year. Many doubt he will disappear from the spotlight as an international leader. Look for him to play a major role as an international peacemaker and to make a bid to become the first EU president in the near future. Many see Mr. Sarkozy as the new go-to leader in the EU who could eventually wrestle the global leadership role away from incoming US President Obama. It will be interesting to see how the relationship between these two leaders plays out.
